Meet Sally – The mind behind Friends of Adventure

Hello, it's great to meet you.

A bit about me? Well, I have been travelling for most of my life, from many trips around Southern Africa in my childhood to the span of the Atlantic Ocean as a yacht crewmember for many years after university. I eventually settled in the UK, but my passion for travel has never wavered – My son is only 2 years old, yet we have already circumnavigated the world together!

My husband and I married at Victoria Falls, which is a large part of why we have such enthusiasm for Southern Africa in particular. Our mission is to not only make the process of booking holidays in the region easy for you, be they backpacking trips, honeymoons or bespoke safari holidays, but to spread the word and encourage more people to embrace the splendour of the African continent, a continent you will never forget.

Friends of Adventure doesn't just benefit our customers – Our efforts support local businesses in the region and drive local conservation efforts. We see mankind as the joint custodians of this wonderful continent, and are happy to do our part to preserve it for future generations.
